CLS-E Stick overheating and dropping out force with constant maneuvering? – BRUNNER Innovation

I was doing some flying last night and during extended hard maneuvering, my CLS-E started constantly “dropping out” the FFB, basically going to zero FFB. The base got so hot you could barely touch it. Anyone ever add cooling to these things? I was considering adding a fan on either side, one sucking and one blowing. Any other ideas?
