I connected the rudder and yoke via the ethernet cable as per the instructions, but the yoke does not show up in MSFS. Do I need to disconnect the ethernet and connect the yoke separately by USB to get it to show up so I can map buttons?
Thanks!

xou need to assign under settings the MSFS2020 OPTION
CHEERS
Pascal
09/09/2024 at 13:59 #3907Ray PriceParticipantI did that. And I also installed the virtual joystick driver. All the buttons are mapped to ‘None/USB’, but pressing ANY of the buttons doesn’t activate the vJoy button in the respective USB controller when looking in ‘USB Game Controllers’.
09/09/2024 at 14:24 #3908Ray PriceParticipantI just noticed that the buttons are not even showing any activity inside the ‘Buttons’ tab in the Brunner software. Maybe I have a faulty unit?
09/09/2024 at 16:19 #3910bluebyteParticipantI don’t believe, more than faulty usb cable
reinstall tbe latest Software also
09/09/2024 at 16:51 #3911Ray PriceParticipantTried different USB cable. Same problem. Uninstalled and re-installed latest software. Same problem.
10/09/2024 at 12:41 #3912Ray PriceParticipantThank you for all the suggestions. Turns out this was caused by an unseated USB connector (handle to main board) inside the unit.
10/09/2024 at 12:54 #3913bluebyteParticipantcool, did you opened the yoke controller ?
10/09/2024 at 13:07 #3914Ray PriceParticipantYes, it was necessary and I was given instructions by support who confirmed it would not invalidate the warranty under the circumstances.
08/12/2024 at 08:25 #4009Lactic68ParticipantHi @Ray Price,
I have the same setup like you yoke and rudder and I only have connected the rudder in USB. Yoke is connected to rudder by ethernet. I can see both in CLS2Sim and every buttons and axes respond correctly.
BUT when I go to MSFS2024, I can only map rudder keys, the yoke doesn’t show at all. I have to switch to vJoy mode (directX) for this to work.
Finally what have you done, have u both connected the device in USB and keep ethernet between them ?
08/12/2024 at 10:27 #4011Ray PriceParticipantHi. I’m not at home to double check but only usb is from rudder to PC. Rudder to yoke is ethernet. I think only rudder shows, but I think it has 3 axis which is the rudder and the two yoke axis under that one controller. I’ll double check later.
10/12/2024 at 20:38 #4013Lactic68ParticipantHi @Ray Price,
Thank you for your answer. Could you confirm how is your CLS2Sim set up please ?
In my case here are the settings which do not work in MSFS2024 :
I have to tick “the Force map vJoy Axes to Pitch/Roll/Yaw/Coll regardless of selected Sim” ifI want the axis yoke being reconized in MSFS2024 (under vJoy peripherals).

I checked the control settings, and here’s the thing. CLSE MKII Rudder shows up, but when you filter to ‘Assigned’, nothing shows. And yet rudder and yoke are both working perfectly. This means the CLS2Sim software is passing these control settings directly to MSFS via the API and it’s not treated as a regular controller that you would assign under MSFS Controls settings.
What does your main CLS2Sim window look like? Do you have pitch roll and yaw green? Connection to MSFS is also green?

The only caveat I can see is that we can’t configure the axis sensitivity in the sim controls interface.
Because I also have some Stream Decks, I was wondering if it makes sense to add a second software on top of that like Spad.Next or Axis And Ohs without risking interference with CLS2Sim. But I will probably create a specific topic about this.
Anyway, thank you again 🙂
