ParticipantWith the yoke pushed all the way in there’s still about 15cm of tube visible. In a real Cessna this is more like a few cm. Is there any risk to removing the yoke handle and cutting the tubing shorter to make it more realistic? Why would they leave so much tubing by default?

ParticipantIt wasn’t designed to replicate a Cessna?
Or
To allow us home simmers plenty of hand and knuckle space behind the horns for clearance with our custom built panels.

ParticipantAh, more clearance makes sense, I guess. My panel setup is pretty simple since I fly in VR. Maybe I’ll have a look and see how easy it would be to trim it down a little. Or maybe I’ll build another mounting board to allow me to set it further back. Appreciate the reply.
