Corner bumpers/guards for rudder?

The CLS-E rudder has sharp corners on the center box. My CLS-E rudder sits permanently beneath my desk and I’m concerned about scratching my feet and legs on it.
Has anyone installed corner bumpers on it (little rubber or plastic corners that are usually built to protect furniture from being scratched)?
Primarily, I’m concerned about obstructing airflow, and if that would cause a problem. But I’m also wondering if someone has found a bumper that fits, since the edges of the device don’t meet at a 90° angle.
