    I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to both use external control and read the status of the button presses.
    Let’s say we are using a custom sim connection and that sends the forces to be applied to the grip as specified here:
    https://cls2sim.brunner-innovation.swiss/externalcontrol.htm

    This sample Python script also returns the position of the joystick but it doesn’t return which buttons are pressed. How can I get that info?
