To me it feels like the turbulence effect in CLS2Sim is very random and canned, not at all connected to the actual turbulence in MSFS.

Is this because CLS2Sim does not read the appropriate wind/turbulence information from SimConnect? If so, I think reading the wind strength and direction from MSFS would work a lot better for “timing” the turbulence effects rather than the approach that is used now.

After all it looks like all the available variables to make a better turbulence simulation are there: https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Programming_Tools/SimVars/Simulation_Variables.htm
