I´m looking for a way to mount the base in a center position in front of my seat WITHOUT an extension.
My idea was to drill holes in the bottom of the housing since it only came with the 4 holes on top.
My question now: which screws need to be removed to enter the housing? There are two silver screws left and right plus a big one on top plus a few black screws…
2nd question: Will the case be strong enough to handle the forces when I screw it on a plate?
3rd one: Is there any other option to mount it?
and finally a suggestion to Brunner: Add some mounting points on the case 😉
