I noticed there’s an oval opening at the bottom of the yoke handle.
Just wanted to know it’s supposed to be there totally uncovered?
Looking into the opening/hole I see some LEDs blinking green and some wires. I just hope dust etc won’t get in there over time causing issues?

As long you not take a shower with your yoke 🙂 this oval opening is not a problem
It is mainly there to be able to remove the yoke handle (screw for the shaft)If you like to cover the hole it is also no problem (no heat is generated inside the handle)

Thanks for the input, think I will just cover it with a bit of tape. Feels good knowing nothing will get in there.
Have a great weekend!
