michaelmenziParticipantDid you manage to get your brakes back? I see in the screenshot you attached that you have three bindings per brake input but all of them are actually “unbound”.
Please delete two of them and then click the edit button non the remaining one and bind it to the brake SimData as shown in the attached pictures.Attachments:

My apologies for knocking stuff off your table!
That just shows how powerful our CLS devices truly are 😛Jokes aside, two possible root causes come to mind:
1) Prop-wash in “directed force” mode on elevator. Try to use “neutralizing force” mode, as it otherwise may fight with other forces leading to erratic behavior.
2) Too much intensity on the turbulence effect. We of course tried to set sensible defaults, but it’s possible that we’ve overseen some edge case.
If you’re stuck, please feel free to open a ticket at our helpdesk (https://helpdesk.brunner-innovation.ch/) so we can make an appointment for further investigation.

glad it’s working!
Not to my knowledge. We planned to record some, but due to our current workload, it unfortunately landed on the backlog. Hope we’ll be able to do an in-depth tutorial soon.09/07/2026 at 15:04 #4641Howard
ParticipantI did have a chance to briefly try the new version. I still had that odd issue where my controls would seeminly lock up. Oddly, it only ever seems to happen when on approach. I took off from LOWI okay, climbing out then turning to the left. As I turned over the town, then on to final, what I observed was as I roll the yoke, the plane would stay in its current back, but yoke inputs were ignored. For a few seconds I could roll the yoke left & right with no effect on the plane. Then suddenly it was controllable a few seconds later then stop.
It did this a few times, and at one point when landed I got SPAD to output to my radio panel the aileron & elevator positions. I tested this on the ground, but annoyingly I didn’t get the problem during the next two circuits. I’ll keep that config in mind for future flights because right now I can’t tell whether it is Simux not getting the signals or the sim not getting them from Simux.
I also had no luck configuring prop wash, so I plan to play around with that too. No matter what values I entered the elevator would fail to come back, even at full power, but I have since wondered whether it was the method I was using in its config. “Neutral” is on of the options, which I chose, but there is a second option that I never tried.

michaelmenziParticipantThat’s strange @Howard. I haven’t observed such an issue (or heard of it). If it happens again, could you open a ticket (https://helpdesk.brunner-innovation.ch) and send us the log file please? The log files reside at: %APPDATA%/Brunner Elektronik AG/Simux/Logs/ Look for the latest timestamp or send them all, but please create a ticket instead of sharing them here publicly 🙂

Participantjust a question out of left field – you have a helicopter profile listed – now does that mean that the pedals now will behave as torque pedals in a helicopter – I see that you have a dedicated FFB torque pedals in your line up . so I guess my question is when we select the helo config do the pedals through software then become torque pedals?
