Today I performed a full scan of my system using the built-in virus scanner in Windows 10. I do this once a week on Fridays and usually, my system is clean.
This time though, I got this result after the scan. Which I hope/think is a false alert. Meaning you (Brunner) need to get in touch with MS having them whitelist this software component of yours.
The plugin version is 4.27.1 and the Security intelligence version is 1.317.669.0

McAfee said it found a virus in CLS2Sim.exe called Real Protect-LS!FA1D77D81DBA. I am still waiting to hear back from Brunner support on what’s going on.

I have submitted the files to both providers.
Fair warning, the last time nothing ever happened. IF they react this time I suspect it will take ages.
The best you can do is add an exception for CLS2Sim and the plugin installer.I can guarantee that the file has no Virus and that it’s the heuristic throwing a false positive.
Would you feel more comfortable if we provided checksum hashes next to the downloads?Regards
