Found a solution: I was still running CLS2Sim 5.5.2. When checking for new updates this version said that I have the current version, so the update check seems to be broken. Funnily enough this version worked on my old machine just fine.

So I manually downloaded 5.7.37 and the MSFS plugin installed correctly.

Did you ever find a solution? I do have exactly the same problem on a newly installed PC which only has MSFS 2024. SDK installed, Simconnect from SDK installed manually – no joy. When trying to install the MSFS Plugin the Cls2Sim installer tries to download a Simconnect.MSI. It seems to fail since a message which includes the text “No Internet Connection – aborting” appears.
