hi, It has been 2185 days, 5 hours, 38 minutes since i checked this thread the last time, but as far as i can remember i opened a ticket, was asked to try it on another computer and when that failed too I was asked to send in the unit for repair.
Then, two weeks after opening this thread I received a functional unit and did not experience any further issues.

additional info: The stick initialized when powered up. The RJ45 ports didn’t have any LEDs, but to right of them there were 3 LEDs titled PWR, S1 and S2. PWR was active constantly, S1 and S2 were blinking simultaneously.
