When you connect power to the Stick, does the stick initialize (move through its range) after a few seconds?
Your Stick has a RJ45 port. (https://sgcdn.startech.com/005329/media/products/gallery_large/ICUSB2322RJ.B.jpg)
When connecting power, does any of the two LEDs on it light up?
