How to install CLS2Sim software updates

Hi,

Is there a place where you describe how to properly handle the CLS2Sim software updates? I just downloaded the latest version (4.25.8) but am afraid to mess up my currently working setup (4.23.3). It would be helpful to include a “How to update” link under the Help menu. Or include a how-to document in the update download zip file.

@gk850 You should be able to just run the installer and the old version will be replaced with the new. I’ve never lost my current profiles by upgrading CLS2Sim software.

I am sure there is lots that is keeping Stafan busy:

Hi

Just install it… and update the plugins (X-Plane, vjoy)
your settings should not be lost

if you want to make a backup of your old version copy or rename the CLS2Sim folder
