As far as i know Brunner tried to get in touch with PMDG on the matter but they didn’t respond, so Brunner can’t really do anything about it at the moment.
29/05/2020 at 14:30 #1807crugno99ParticipantThat’s correct if you fly planes like PMDG you’ll miss some features like autopilot motion, stick shaker, trim motion, taxi vibrations, ecc.. but what i was refferring to was the fact that if you fly commercial airliners i’m sure you know that those have hydraulic systems/flybywire to control surfaces so you wont be able to feel the plane flying trough the air like you would do on a small GA plane, so the difference between an economic yoke like the Saitek and the Brunner one will be smaller.
In terms of travel i don’t feel like i need more than it does, surely airlines do have huge travel on the pitch axis but having all that travel on a “home yoke” attached to a desk is not very practical in my opinion, plus in normal operations pilots don’t even use that much travel because they don’t need it.
The Feedback is spot on, i’m not a pilot but you can definitely tell when you are flying trough some turbulence, even on airliners like the 737.
The actual Force on the yoke varies depending on the profile selected, unless you want to simulate an hydraulic loss on an airliner i don’t think that you need more that it does.

Other than that i don’t think there’s much to say, the built quality is outstanding, you can tell this is a product built to last, forces are well replicated, this is probably the best thing if you want to get as much close to real life flying as possible.Marco

This review makes no sense
It’s like comparing bicycles against a motorbike
the only thing Austin is right, that some improvement on the Software side could be done but this is an ongoing process…Regards
Stefan BrunnerI completely agree with you Stefan, don’t listen to them and keep up the good work!
09/09/2019 at 12:27 #1420crugno99ParticipantThank you Stefan i was just wondering if this was normal or not and btw it doesn’t bother me too much because i can’t feel it when handling the yoke and i can’t ear it either because of the engine sound of the aircraft.
08/09/2019 at 10:29 #1415crugno99ParticipantI have the same problem on the pitch axis, and i have to say i’s quite annoying when you pay over 1000 Euro for it, i won’t return it cause i will have to pay the import taxes again, which i don’t want since i paid over 300 for them.
i leave an attachment with a video to better explain the issue:
https://vimeo.com/35858837905/07/2019 at 18:28 #1320crugno99ParticipantYep i got a few little scratches as well, luckily they are not visible because they are under the yoke/steering wheel and i won’t see them because there’s always something attached to the desk. Thank you for your suggestion, i personally switch very frequently between the yoke and the steering and certainly i don’t want to throw away my desk doing that.
04/07/2019 at 18:07 #1310crugno99ParticipantThey arrived but they are a bit to large 20mm (the slots are 13.5mm), i clamped them on the 2 outside flanges and they seem to work just fine so eventually i will decide if keep it like this or grinding them off, the previous clamps i was using was some carpenter clamps and they were really uncomfortable because they were in the space of my legs, the new ones works just fine, the yoke doesn’t move a mill.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.it%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132515257458
They should arrive today, i don’t know if they are the right dimensions, but they are pretty small so would be no problem for me grinding them off a little bit.
I will post here any update.
However Brunner should not mention desk clamps and show pictures of them in the manual if they are not included in the package or can be bought separately from their site.
25/06/2019 at 21:02 #1301crugno99ParticipantThis is exactly what i wanted to avoid, since i’m a sim racing enthusiast as well and is quite hard to switch everytime from the yoke to the steering wheel XD, would be inconvenent to unscrew the yoke from the desk eveytime i have to switch, so a desk clamp would be perfect for me.
P.S. how do you feel with the yoke 2 years after? Is it still working well? any sign of wear? Thank you very much!
