I don’t see any way to edit my above post, but I’m not using Brunner DX, I’m using the new Brunner USB. My mistake.
14/03/2023 at 04:27 #3045moespeedsParticipantI managed to get Brunner USB working.
In IL2 I get force in pitch, but in roll the stick just wants to pull hard full left or right and stay there. Any ideas?
10/03/2023 at 22:54 #3034moespeedsParticipantI’m attempting to use IL2 with Brunner DX.
Pitch seems to work as it should. Roll just wants to go all the way to one corner, and stay there. So it doesn’t want to center. Rudder pedals just stay where I put them, also no centering force.
Is there a setup somewhere that I’m not seeing? Brunner DX recognizes both devices and shows them as connected. Inputs are going to the game.

The issue was that Oculus Home was opening with Steam VR, I had installed it for my Quest 2. I actually use a Pimax 8kx though. So for whatever reason, if Oculus Home opened with Steam VR, it would screw up the joystick. I uninstalled Oculus Home, and the problem is fixed.

See these videos:
24/05/2021 at 16:07 #2442moespeedsParticipantNew profile as in aircraft profile? I tried multiple profiles, as well as starting over with a “blank” profile, no joy.
Again, this only affects the JF Arrow. All other aircraft work normally.
03/02/2021 at 18:21 #2314moespeedsParticipantIn my experience calibration must be done in windows.
@ashtoruin do you have the CM2 controller set in each aircraft profile? I got it working once I went into each profile and set the joystick type, then calibrated via windows. CLS must be restarted, and the stick power cycled after you make the change, and before you calibrate in windows.03/02/2021 at 18:18 #2313moespeedsParticipantThank you, I figured it out last night. The issue was that I did not have the CM2 set as my controller type in the individual aircraft profiles. I looked about everywhere for that setting, except where it actually was!
Working great now, thank you!
Every time I open the CLS software, it’s telling me there is a newer version, but does not tell me where to find it. Might be beneficial to have a hotlink pop up so it can be easily found?
03/02/2021 at 03:28 #2311moespeedsParticipantI just got a CM2, and same issues, as well as nothing when I depress the hats. I swear I saw that the CM2 was comnpatible?
15/01/2021 at 15:26 #2261moespeedsParticipantWould love to see this issue solved. We need an invert command for this function.
13/01/2021 at 15:27 #2251moespeedsParticipantI have been flying MSFS 2020 a lot, with the CLS rudder and stick, with no issues. Everything works, and acts as it should. I was also very skeptical about purchasing, as info is very difficult to find, but I do not regret it one bit. They are great pieces of hardware. My one nitpick is that for whatever reason, the elevator droops in the wrong direction at rest, so the stick ends up in your lap instead of pushing away from you.
12/01/2021 at 14:52 #2250moespeedsParticipantIs it possible to force CLS2SIM to use another port to communicate?
18/12/2020 at 05:04 #2198moespeedsParticipantWell, I answered my own question.
If you set the simulator to “X-Plane” in the settings, then open the AV8 profile, you can disable the control droop, even though the setting does not appear when you have it in DCS mode.
