Here’s a weird one. I’ve already filed a bug report with you.
With CLS2Sim connected, operating a non-Brunner set of pedals (I believe in the yaw, not the brake, axis) causes the yoke–in the airplane, but *not* in the hand, to move and twitch. Disconnect CLS2Sim and the problem vanishes. However, all other functions now work well–FF and effects. So. Progress.

    Same Problem here!
@Marshall: Do you notice any problems with the flight director, when connecting CLS in an airliner (747/787)? My Flight director is constantly swithing on and of as soon i connect CLS…

Now I’m back to the older settings (“Force map vJoy Axes…” and set Aileron/Elevator in MSFS with vJoy Axis). This way I can use the yoke without moving the elevator axis with my Saitek Rudder pedals.

Hope this new problems can be solved with a new version of CLS2Sim.

    Cheers,
    Martin

    Hi everyone

Check here for a beta release, where the rudder problem at least should be fixed.

    CLS2Sim Beta release 4.27.9

@captain737 The ever-toggling FD is a known issue (for reference: helpdesk ticket #220), a workaround is to turn off the feature “On overpower disable …”

    Hi,
for me the rudder problem isn’t solved with this Beta version. As long as I move the Saitek Rudder pedals, the Yoke in the Cockpit also moves to the center position and if I stop moving the pedals (at any position) the Yoke goes back to the forward position.

Must say, I’m using the “Yoke is pulled forward by Elevator weight” setting in CLS2Sim.

    Martin

The Beta version didn’t help the rudder / elevator problem for me either.

I didn’t have this problem before until I disabled flight surfaces in MSFS.

I went back and re-enabled elevator / aileron in MSFS and now NO rudder problem.

The CLSE-NG seems to respond OK. But I don’t know what issues I may be causing because of enabling flight surfaces in MSFS.

BTW – I do NOT have Force map vJoy enabled in Settings CLS2sim.

I have CLSE (without integrated USB Game controller) and I can confirm that the force feedback features work as expected. The update fixed the problem for me. Thanks!!!

I do not have “Yaw” in the Axis Range Settings as per https://cls2sim.brunner-innovation.swiss/CLSProfileManager.htm#range

I do not have a force feedback rudder, is this why it is not listed?

    Hi,

I have set CLSE NG Yoke up in the CLS2Sim UI Version 4.27.6 as per the instructions:

“Do not map any axis in the Simulator over vjoy or game controller, this is done in CLS2Sim (Force map vJoy Axes to Pitch/Roll is not needed)”

The aileron and elevator do not move unless I assign the axis in MSFS. Am I misunderstanding something here?

    Robert

Okay folks, on the rudder/yoke coupling: Did a little experiment. This is with the Beta CLS2Sim, BTW, which I can confirm does not fix this particular problem.

IAC, I disconnected the rudder axis and brake axes in FS2020, for my non-Brunner pedals. Obviously, no more twitching. Then, I reassigned the brake axes, back to the pedals. No twitching. Then, on the off chance this was either axis or device-specific, I reassigned left and right rudder functions to a pair of keyboard keys. And presto! Twitching is back. So it would seem to be anything involving yaw commands, regardless of input device, in the sim feeding back into CLS2Sim or, I dunno, SimConnect. I’m not a software engineer, so I’m decidedly ignorant of the innards. I’ll leave that to the experts.
    Hope this helps!

    best,

    Marshll

    Hi Folks

    Thanks for the feedback.
Stefan organized a “Pro Flight Rudder Pedals” for me.
Will check with that and get back to you with another iteration.

    Regards
    Diego
