Hi Venkat
Did you enable the remote interface?
In CLS2Sim, did you go to top menu > File > Settings and in the settings dialog enable the remote interface. You can find example code (C#)
Install CLS2Sim, then go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Brunner Elektronik AG\CLS2Sim\SDK
for some demo code.Regards
Diego29/11/2024 at 11:37 #3986Diego BürginKeymasterHi Venkat
If you want to interact with Brunner hardware via CLS2Sim, you may use the network protocol described in the online help:
https://cls2sim.brunner-innovation.swiss/
There are no plug-and-play libraries provided.
You have to write the network code on your own.If however you want to interact directly on the CAN bus,
help with the CAN interface is only provided as paid support per hour.
Please contact sales@brunner-innovation.swiss and request a support hour package.
Once you have acquired support hours,
you may open a ticket at https://helpdesk.brunner-innovation.ch/Kind Regards

8.61E-10 = 8.61 * 10^-10 = 0.0000000000861
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_notation#E_notationBasically zero = no thrust, all engines not running / failed.
Hope that helps.

If you cannot open a ticket, please write to support@brunner-innovation.swiss
As for your problem:
In CLS2Sim:
In the connection settings, in the Simulator group box, disable “Auto connect”.
Make sure you’re only connected to the hardware side, not the sim.
Create a new profile.
In Hydraulics enable “static force scale factor and set a force scale of 400
Press Apply button.Does the yoke roll center, or does it pull left?
Write us your observations to the support email.

Diego18/09/2024 at 08:00 #3917Diego BürginKeymasterHi, Diego from development here.
If you own MSFS2020 Steam version , open:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimConnect.xml
If you own MSFS2020 NON Steam version, open:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimConnect.xml
Search for:
<!-- Example Global (remote) IPv4 Server Configuration-->
and set the following settings:
<SimConnect.Comm> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Protocol>IPv4</Protocol> <Scope>global</Scope> <MaxClients>64</MaxClients> <Address>0.0.0.0</Address> <Port>15050</Port> </SimConnect.Comm>
Start, or restart MSFS2020 and afterwards you can connect with both SimRacingStudio and CLS2Sim.
Please note!
Any time you change settings within SimRacingStudio (screenshot), it overwrites this file and you have to manually adjust the file again.
I do not know, what exact SimConnect connection settings SimRacingStudio needs, maybe someone can fill that in.
For CLS2Sim, it needs an IPv4 protocol connection on port 15050 as shown in the xml above.Regards
Diego08/07/2024 at 08:17 #3861Diego BürginKeymasterHi Kirk
Open the file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Brunner Elektronik AG\CLS2Sim\Settings\connection.stx
Search for APP_SWITCH_CUSTOM_AP
Setfalse totrue In CLS2Sim you can now decide more finely grained when the AP mode of the hardware should be active. (AP tab > Custom AP button)
Also, try to fly with “Don’t set pos in AP mode” disabled and see if that improves the situation.Regards

Diego20/06/2023 at 12:22 #3132Diego BürginKeymasterHi all
Diego here.
We are aware of the problem and working on possible solutions.vJoy 2.1.9.1 is working on Windows 11 (for now), but has some highly problematic bugs. (used before CLS2Sim 5.5.0)
vJoy 2.2.1.1 is not working on Windows 11 but is more stable in general. The main problem is that vJoy is not developed actively anymore and as it is a driver, it needs to be signed to allow installation.
Microsoft has made driver signing significantly more complicated and cumbersome than it was two years ago.
We are looking into the possibility of (maybe!) continuing development of vJoy ourselves.
In the meantime we will modify CLS2Sim to allow choosing which vJoy version to use.For those who need to jump back to 5.4.7, here is a link:

Run it with the batch file “Log Debug Messages.bat” and upload the log file after you’re done.Regards
Diego03/10/2022 at 10:47 #2880Diego BürginKeymasterHello everyone
a) CLS2Sim not connecting:
We have just now uploaded CLS2Sim build 5.1.23 which fixes the particular problem.b) Memory integrity:
CLS2Sim ships and installs an old FTDI driver (older version for compatibility reasons).
The offending driver installer has been removed. For user with old hardware using a COM-Port:
IF you have Windows 8+, it will automatically install a new version of the driver when the device is plugged in.
If you Windows 7 or older and connections problems, contact us.People with the memory integrity issue will need to uninstall the old driver manually:
Uninstall the following 2 items from “Control Panel” > “Programs and features”Windows Driver Package – FTDI CDM Driver Package – VCP Driver (01/27/2014 2.10.00) – 01/27/2014 2.10.00
Windows Driver Package – FTDI CDM Driver Package – Bus/D2XX Driver (01/27/2014 2.10.00) – 01/27/2014 2.10.00Regards
Diego27/09/2022 at 16:51 #2869Diego BürginKeymasterHello everyone
ftdibus.sys is an old driver that is installed by CLS2Sim, for compatibility with older devices.
If your Brunner device has no COM port, you don’t need this driver and can uninstall it.
However please be aware that each update of CLS2Sim will reinstall the driver. We are aware and working on this problem.

02/09/2021 at 10:01 #2536Diego BürginKeymasterHi, Diego here.

and open a ticket. I will debug this problem with you.Regards
09/03/2021 at 08:47 #2379Diego BürginKeymasterHi Webmaximus
vJoy since old times had that problem, that on some machines/installations the installation succeeded but the installer hung up after installing the driver.
Kill the installer, restart and check if vJoy is installed. (Always successful in my experience)CLS2Sim 4.29.3 is now out, where the link is fixed.
(Additionally the reconnection interval can now be configured.)Regards
